When the grief your clients face is deeper and more complex than they ever anticipated.

Parental loss in midlife is often seen as inevitable — but for many clients, it’s anything but simple.

They may appear “fine” on the outside…
Yet internally, they feel unmoored, isolated, or unexpectedly shattered.

What we’ll cover:

  • A deeper look at why the loss of a parent is so life-altering — even in midlife

  • Clinical insights into family dynamics, sibling tensions, and the legacy of “stuff”

  • Exploration of how romantic partnerships and relationships with surviving parents are impacted

  • Practical tools and adjunct resources to support your clients beyond the therapy room
